AVATAR ~ The Movie
Jamie has asked us this week What story do you wish to live or let go of? I just saw the movie "Avatar" last night; if you haven't seen it you must go see it. It is the most visually stunning movie I have ever seen. You may be asking yourself what does that have to do with Jamie's question but if you've already seen the movie you'll understand. First of all anyone that is capable of getting into the position above has my attention right off the bat! LOL The movie made me think about how far humans have ventured off course. We have lost the magic of living on this beautiful earth and instead we are destroying her. Although I personally don't believe we can destroy her because eventually she will shake us off like fleas on a dog. This movie made me realize the most wondrous thing we have is our body and oh how we mistreat them. They are a work of art, fine tuned we could accomplish things we never dreamed of.
This movie also profoundly effected me because my spiritual belief system is based on the theory of this movie that "we are all connected". That there is an energy that connects every living thing. So I wish to continue living the life I have with my art and my gardens and all the little things that make me appreciate being alive like warm gentle breezes and the sight of all my beautiful spring flowers I hope to see soon. It's that time of year and spring will be here soon and the tulips, daffodils and hyacinths will appear in their regal beauty. My hard work in the fall will pay off when I see all the beautiful flowers.
I have already left the the story I wish to let go off. My past when I tried to conform to the so called "norm" and always found I did not fit in. I started making choices on what makes me happy instead of obtaining material possessions. This life I live is not for everyone, some people would hate it but it is my quirky little world, filled with art, artist friends, gardening and traveling the internet in search of people just like me.
If you haven't seen the movie yet please go. It is in 3D and it will absolutely awaken the creativity that lies within you!
